Greetings QSAC members,
as we approach the winter holidays, one of the tasks the leadership has on their “to do” list is to update and release the following year’s QSAC Rules Package.
The past few years, we have celebrated the life of a fallen member of the QSAC community through the use of a memorial image on the cover of the QSAC Rules Package. We have been working with incoming Co-Chair, Todd Bishop, on alternative ways we can memorialize and honor members from our quarter scale community that have passed away. We hope to share an announcement about that and other news in the coming weeks.
For 2021, we are looking to create a positive image in hope of a great year for all in our quarter scale community. We thought it would be fun to include the membership in this process, so we are pleased to announce a contest for the 2021 QSAC Rules Package cover image.
We are asking for QSAC members to submit images they would like to have considered as a possible cover image for the 2021 QSAC Rules Package. We will accept images up until November 30th,. The QSAC leadership will pick a maximum of 10 images from all the images that are received. Once the final group of images is selected, we will post them to ¼ Scale Bench Talk, along with a poll to allow voting for the best image. The image that receives the most votes will have the honor of gracing the cover of the 2021 QSAC Rules Package.
There is always a hitch…, so, what is the hitch?
Images submitted for consideration must meet the following criteria:
1. Family Friendly.
2. Must be a positive/encouraging image depicting the fun and enjoyment that quarter scale racing has to offer.
3. If a person or persons are shown in the image, the person or persons must be QSAC members.
4. If a track is shown in the image, it must be a QSAC sanctioned track.

Please have the subject line of the email read “QSAC Cover Photo Contest” and include your name and current QSAC member number in the body of the email.
That’s it! We think this can be a fun way to engage with the membership and look forward to seeing the images you share with us.
