Greetings QSAC members,
Brian Howard has officially announced his candidacy for the upcoming QSAC Co-Chair election this year.
Brian had been a vetted and organizationally approved candidate in 2021. However, Brian decided to withdraw his name prior to the ballot going out to the membership with the intention of running in 2022.
Here is a brief letter from Brian regarding his candidacy for QSAC Co-Chair.
“My name is Brian Howard and I am running for Co-Chair this year.
I have been involved in rc racing and other forms of racing in one form or another for over 15 years. I had a break from competitive rc racing while on active duty in the US Armed Forces. Upon my retirement in 2015, I got back into racing, and three years ago started 1/4 scale.
I believe we need new people in leadership positions leading QSAC to the future and making the improvements needed. There are many good things QSAC does, but there is always room for improvement. I believe new people leading QSAC is what’s needed to keep this hobby/sport moving forward. My goal is to improve what we do and how to make the experience better for every racer at all races. I am the current director of the IRA tri-state series, this will be my first full year as such improving the racing experience for everyone that participates.
Please consider me for co-chair and message me here or through Facebook with any questions you have of me.
Thank you Brian Howard “
Thank you,
Joe Brooks
