2025 QSAC RULES PACKAGE AND DIRT TRACK RULES ADDENDUM RELEASED

Good evening, QSAC members.

We are pleased to share with the membership the release and publication of the 2025 QSAC Rules Package and 2025 QSAC Dirt Track Rules Addendum.

We apologize for the delay in release for these documents, and we appreciate your patience as we worked through other tasks that required our effort and attention.

For the 2025 year, we are honoring an individual that had an impact on quarter scale.  For the 2025 Rules Package, we are honoring Dave Dygon.  Dave first became involved with quarter scale and QSAC back in 2000 when he and his close friend, Butch Thompson, ventured down below the Cheddar Current into the flatlands of Illinois and Machesney Park Raceway (MPR).  Dave quickly became addicted to quarter scale and became a weekly presence at MPR.  Whether it was racing in Sportsman or Limited Sportsman, or supporting another racer by providing them with a ride, Dave was invested and supporting quarter scale racing in so many ways.  Dave would ultimately serve as car owner and mentor to Alex Livingston; forging a close bond that was stronger than if they were family.  Organizationally, Dave served as Central District Director for many years, and then as an elected Co-Chair for the organization.  Dave had a great sense of humor and absolutely loved being around his racing family.  Dave’s passing this past fall created a void for those that knew him, even if it was just a one-time meeting as Dave was just that guy that left a positive influence.  To Dave’s family, we thank you for allowing us to use Dave’s images on our rules package cover; Dave is and will continue to be greatly missed.

The newest copies of the rules can be found on the “RULES” tab on the www.qsac.org webpage.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to either of us.

We look forward to the 2025 racing season and seeing many of you at the QSAC National Championship at DFW Speedway in Burleson, Texas in June!

Thank you,
Brian Howard
