2024 QSAC RULES PACKAGE AND 2024 QSAC DIRT TRACK RULES ADDENDUM – RELEASED

Good evening, QSAC members.

We are  pleased to finally share with the membership the 2024 QSAC Rules Package and 2024 QSAC Dirt Track Rules Addendum.

It took a bit of time to get to this point, and we apologize for the delay.

For the 2024 year, we are honoring individuals that had an impact on quarter scale.  For the 2024 Rules Package, we are honoring Orrin Sunde.  While Orrin never held a position with QSAC, Orrin was fully invested in promoting and advocating for any and all things quarter scale related.  Orrin was constantly thinking about the average racer, making strides to make sure they were able to compete and have a good time.  Orrin was very involved in the GLQSR “Club Car” program which helped get used cars into the hands of new to quarter scale racers.  Orrin also held the reigns of the Tri-State Series for a couple of years, continuing a Midwest tradition that still exists to this day.  Orrin passed away in 2023 after a battle with cancer.  To Orrin’s family, we thank you for allowing us to use Orrin’s image on our rules package cover image; Orrin will be missed.

Additionally, we are honoring a special individual on the cover of the 2024 QSAC Dirt Track Rules Addendum; Mrs. Darlene Willmann.  Darlene is mother to Mike Willmann, and for obvious reasons, one of Mike’s closest and most loyal supporters and fan!  Darlene could be seen helping at the QSAC Dirt National Championship serving food and just making everyone in attendance at the event, feel at home.  Darlene passed away in early 2024.  We thought it was fitting to honor Darlene in this way as she was a big part of the QSAC dirt track racing experience.  To Darlene’s family, we thank you for allowing us to use Darlene’s image on our dirt track rules addendum cover image; Darlene will be missed.

The newest copies of the rules can be found on the “RULES” tab on the www.qsac.org webpage.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to either of us.

Thank you,
Brian Howard
