QSAC Co-Chair Candidates Announcement
We are pleased to announce that the nominating committee has vetted two candidates that we would like to present to the membership. They are: Chris Landers, running for reelection, and Brian Howard.
Chris Landers: “I would like to run for reelection for another 2-year term for QSAC. I feel like I have a lot to offer to the club and I have a lot of unfinished business that I want to work on during the 2024 and 2025 seasons. I hope to be able to serve another 2 years to help grow the sport unlike some that are trying to tear it down. Thank You.”
Brian Howard: “My name is Brian Howard and I am running for Co-Chair this year. I have been involved in RC racing and other forms of racing in one form or another for over 20 years. I had a break from competitive RC racing while on active duty in the military. Upon my retirement in 2015, I got back into RC racing and started 1/4 scale. I have been to the last three national races, raced the IRA series and the SOWF race for the last few years. I am part of the Indy Quarter Scale Racers club and my home track is Ingalls, IN, ‘The Mini-Madhouse.’ I have traveled a lot racing 1/4 scale and have met a lot of great people and made many friends. I am passionate about racing and especially our 1/4 scale community. I believe we need new people in leadership positions leading QSAC to the future and making the improvements needed. There are many good things QSAC does, but there is always room for improvement. My goal is to improve what we do and how to make the experience better for every racer at all races. Please consider me for co-chair, and if you have any questions of me please reach out to me. Thank you, Brian Howard.”
Ballots will be distributed via email to all current members on August 1, to be sent out. Let the election process begin! Choose the candidate you believe will best lead QSAC into the future.
Sincerely,
Todd Bishop
