Greetings QSAC members:
There has been a question proposed to us regarding what is the stock/OEM cylinder gasket for the G240RC engine. There are two currently available cylinder gaskets offered from Zenoah; a blue paper gasket and a black reinforced gasket.
Given the possibility of two gaskets, we started our path of investigation with the Zenoah website and the manuals that are available for viewing. Zenoah has two different versions of the G240RC engine manual available on their website; one dated 2012 and one dated 2018. In both versions, the cylinder gasket part number called out is 579 24 83-01.

We have been able to confirm that the stock/OEM gasket, Zenoah part number 579 24 83-01, is the black reinforced gasket.
Given the information found, confirmation established, and in the interest of providing clarity for our membership, we will be adding a clarification statement/update to the upcoming 2023 QSAC Rules Package.That clarification update will be as follows:
