Greetings QSAC Members,
During the 2021 QSAC Co-Chair election process, there was a proposed change to the Bylaws (see the attached image below which contains the proposed change, as was received on the 2021 Co-Chair ballot).
This change was voted upon by the membership, and the results were that the change was approved and ratified.
– Total of 79 ballots returned.
– 52 cast a vote of “YES” for the change to the Bylaws.
– 0 cast a vote of “NO” for the change to the Bylaws.
– 10 abstained from voting on the change to the Bylaws.
The change to the Bylaws passed on a vote of 52-0, and was thereby ratified as of 2021-09-01.
The primary reason for the delay in publishing this updated change to the Bylaws was a an update in the documents’ formatting. Similar to the process that took place with the QSAC Rules Package, the QSAC Bylaws have been completely reformatted. We believe this change makes the Bylaws easier to edit in the future, as well as easier to read, and easier to provide reference when needed.
In addition to the reformatting of the Bylaws, we have also added a change record at the back of the document.
