Bishop to Run for Co-Chair Re-Election – QSAC Updates – QSAC | Quarter Scale Auto Club

 Greetings QSAC members,

Todd Bishop has expressed his intentions to run for QSAC Co-Chair re-election this year.

Here is a brief letter from Todd regarding his bid for re-election.

“I would like to announce my interest in re-election for the position of QSAC Co-
Chair.

Most people know me as the owner of Bishop Racing Products which was
passed on to Tom and Tim Standridge in 2019. My first interest in quarter scale
racing started when I saw the first WCM sprint car in 1985. After that I was
hooked. Since my profession was a rubber mold maker, it was a natural fit for me
to start manufacturing rubber tires for the quarter scale industry. The first tires
that I made were two-inch wide Goodyear tires for the front of the sprint cars. As
technology evolved and with continued testing for the last 30 years, I developed
the tires that are currently used today.

I have been the QSAC manufacturers’ rep and on the Rules Ratification Committee
off and on for several years. This has allowed me to have relationships with most
all of the manufacturers and the governing body of QSAC.

This past year, my tenure as Co-Chair has been way busier than I ever thought it
would be. From keeping manufacturers aware of any and all upcoming topics
that may affect their business to listening to the members with ideas and
concerns. Then approaching these ideas and concerns to make sure any decisions
are non-bias among all parties involved.

I want to thank you all for allowing me the opportunity to serve quarter scale
racing as Co-Chair and hope that you will let me to continue to serve this great
sport.

Sincerely,
Todd Bishop”

Thank you,
Joe Brooks
