Circle of Change – Charitable Partner for the 2022 QSAC Paved National Championship – QSAC Updates – QSAC | Quarter Scale Auto Club

 Greetings QSAC members,

QSAC is excited to announce Circle of Change as our charitable partner for the 2022 QSAC Paved National Championship at MPR.

While discussing possible partners for this years event amongst with some of the guys from MPR, local racer, and new to quarter scale racing, Ralph Timbush shared of his involvement with a local group called Circle of Change.  Circle of Change’s mission statement reads as follows:

Under the supervision of professional dog trainers, veterans from all wars suffering the effects of PTSD & traumatic brain injuries learn dog handling skills. Participants meet once a week to interact with each other and train dogs.

CIRCLE OF CHANGE IS NOT A SERVICE DOG ORGANIZATION.

Participating dogs are chosen by our trainers– many of these dogs exhibit some of the same symptoms as veterans with anxiety issues, traumatic brain injury and/or Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

Our classes provide a relaxed environment to observe, learn and socialize. Over time, participants see a pathway to their own recovery by helping dogs overcome behavioral challenges.

Confidence, trust and respect are the result of relationships built among the veterans, dogs and trainers.”

In talking with Circle of Change Executive Director, Erin Rabon, it became quickly clear how impactful this program is for veterans.  QSAC is excited to support this great organization.  You can read and find out more about the organization here: Circle of Change

QSAC and MPR will be accepting donations throughout the week of the National Championship.  We will also be hosting a 50/50 raffle with proceeds going directly to Circle of Change.  We are planning to have Erin present on Friday morning for drawing the 50/50 winner and presenting the proceeds to Erin and the Circle of Change organization.

Please consider a donation or participating in the 50/50 raffle if you will be attending the 2022 QSAC National Championship.

Thank you,
