Greetings QSAC members
I am pleased to announce and share some news regarding the QSAC.org website.
We have updated the QSAC.org main menu buttons on the top of your PC screen, or the side menu on your mobile phone screen. We have shortened the naming conventions to allow the addition of a new button. You will now find a new button titled “TRACKS”. Upon clicking this button you will be greeted by a new interface for QSAC sanctioned tracks. We’ve renamed a couple of tabs as well; “Membership” is now “Members”; “QSAC Online Forms” is now “Forms”. We are also working on expanding and updating the National Championship page to include results from 2018 and 2019; this will take some time and effort, but we hope to have those results populated before the end of the year.
Regarding the updates to the individual track pages, the information and images that are currently listed for each track is basically what was there prior to this most recent website update. I will gladly update each track page with the following information, if/when provided to me.
Track Logo (image)
Three (or four if you prefer an image instead of a logo for the slot listed above)
Street/Mailing Address
Website
Hours of operation
Run Line
Lane Width
Banking
Track owners and/or operators, please feel free to contact me via email with the above information. I will do my best to update each track page within a reasonable amount of time.
I hope having the ability to find QSAC sanctioned tracks a bit easier is a welcome site for users and visitors to our website.
I have received questions from some of our membership regarding the site structure asking why we do not have all of the links/tabs/buttons at the top of the website? The answer is simply this; we are not able to have all of the links at the top of the website. Unfortunately, we are limited to the number of buttons we can have in the top ribbon of the website; meaning we are not able to add additional buttons without a major background reconstruction to the website. This will be taken into consideration when a major rebuild of the website is evaluated.
Thank you to all of the membership that provided insight and perspective to the website update. We sincerely hope this helps our sanctioned track partners.
UPDATE: 9-20-2020, 3:20 PM
No sooner do I post this announcement and our website creator, Steve Martin, sends me a message stating that he found a way to have more buttons across the top of the page when viewed on a PC, or on the side pull-down menu when using a mobile device. So…, all information is now available at the top of the page on your PC, or primary pull down on your mobile devices. 🙂

Joe Brooks
