Greetings QSAC members
It is with great honor and privilege that we bring to you the results of the 2019 Co-Chair election.
However, before we get to the results, we, the Co-Chairs, would like to address overall voter turnout.
For 2019, we received a total of 84 cast ballots. To put that into perspective, that is a voter turnout of approximately 29% based on a membership of 290 at the time of election closing. To say that we are “happy” about the turnout would not be fair as we had hopes for a much higher voter turnout. We hope the membership will collectively take a vested role in being certain to exercise their right and obligation to vote for their Co-Chairs in the coming elections.
Of the 84 returned ballots, here are the results of the election for 2019.
Denny Andrews Jr., 55 votes
Douglas Murphy, 26 votes
No Cast Vote, 3 blank votes
With the details of the election outlined above, we extend a thank you to Doug Murphy for stepping up to run for Co-Chair. We know Doug took this choice very seriously and we believe he would have been a fine Co-Chair. Thank you, Doug.
